Cable racks

Cable racks are ground-based metal structures used to fix cables, including power ones, above the ground. Most often, such structures are used at industrial facilities where it is difficult or impossible to install underground channels or they are occupied by other communications. In addition, this method of laying cables avoids the negative impact of chemical compounds contained in the soil, and also greatly simplifies the process of inspecting the condition of cables, their repair and replacement.

Since any industrial enterprise uses a large number of pieces of machinery and equipment, the cable rack must withstand a large weight and volume of networks, be wind and snow resistant, withstand the negative effects of precipitation without loss of performance, including due to the presence of special anti-corrosion coatings.

Cable racks can be technological and special. Technological structures are understood as structures that are used not only for laying the cables themselves, but also for fixing other equipment. Special designs are used exclusively for cable installation.
The design of the cable trestle may assume that in the future the structures will be used for double-sided or single-sided cable laying. Double-sided products are more expensive designs, but very quickly justify the investment made in them due to the fact that they are designed to hold more cables (up to 60 units).

There are also impassable and passable cable racks. Checkpoints are equipped with special bridges, with the help of which cable maintenance is carried out. Impassable are serviced by means of special mechanisms.

Installation of cable racks is most often carried out on a foundation made using screw piles, or in a reinforced concrete foundation. At the installation site, such structures are delivered in a collapsible form, which greatly facilitates and reduces the cost of their transportation.
