Testing of cranes is necessary before their full operation. Static testing of the crane is carried out with a load that is 25% higher than its lifting capacity, which is indicated in the passport. How is static testing of overhead cranes performed?- the crane is installed over the support of the crane runway, the trolley is placed in a position that corresponds to the largest deflection of the bridge. A certain load is raised to a height of 100 to 200 mm and held in this position for 10 minutes;
- after the expiration of 10 minutes, the load is lowered, then the bridge crane is tested for the absence of deformations of the crane bridge. If such deformation is detected that arose as a result of testing the crane with loads, the crane is not allowed to work. Further, they find out the reasons and the possibility of the future operation of this crane.
How are dynamic crane tests carried out- tests are carried out using a load with a mass that exceeds the passport carrying capacity by 10%;
- checking the serviceability of crane mechanisms;
- checking crane brakes;
- multiple lowering and lifting of loads;
- make diagnostics of all mechanisms, combining the working movements that are provided according to the instructions.
Static and dynamic testing of the crane is carried out at the enterprise, the owner of the cranes provides a set of test weights, with the actual weight indicated on them. After testing the overhead cranes, the owner is issued a test report of the crane, which indicates its serviceability or non-serviceability.
Crane testing guarantees safe and quality work in the enterprise. |
